Another Record High (but we don’t want it)

Well, America, this week was another rerun of the same worthless show that the GOP has given us the past 5 years, with the exception of Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and a handful of others.  While the world had plenty of time to see the spitefulness, childishness, and complete void of responsibility that is the Obama administration during the so-called “government shutdown,” Republican leaders demonized their own (Ted Cruz and co.) and caved like the pile of wusses they are.  They talked a good game and for a small bit, I had hope.  Then, as if on cue, Boehner and company derailed America, again, and planted their noses right back in the rear end of the progressives.  I’m sure you’ve all heard by now, but real quick, here’s what I understand happened in the alleged deal to re-open the government (that never really was closed):

  • The whole ordeal was, supposedly, about Obamacare and its funding.  Did anybody else feel like they spoke about that at the beginning, then maybe at the very end, but that entire discussion was lost in the juvenile delinquency and hostility of this administration?
  • GOP caved to “make a deal to re-open the government.”  That deal included everything Obama cried about and nothing the republicans supposedly fought for.
  • The debt ceiling was raised.
  • Obamacare was not delayed or defunded, so remains intact for the destruction of our health care and economy.
  • Oh, and perhaps one of the best things (as if those aren’t already great enough), Mitch McConnell got a $2 billion earmark for his home-state in the deal.

Well, the Washington Times reported today that this wonderful compromise only included a date extension on the nation’s borrowing limit.  You got that?  A date to cut it off.  Not a dollar amount.  So, any amount this administration can waste between now and the cut off date is apparently allowable.  That being the case, today marked a new record high in our nation’s debt!

Today . . . and today alone . . . America’s debt increased by $328 BILLION . . . . just today.  That officially puts us over the $17 trillion mark.  You can read the whole story here, but a graph is below.

This is going to be swell.  Thanks, Boehner and all you other spineless twits.  (For the record, I only blame the GOP for caving.  Everything leading up to that was completely in Obama and the dems court.)

Oh, and to top it all off, Obama has declared that, now, he wants to push for immigration reform . . . aka, amnesty . . . along with higher taxes and spending.

I know I’ve said it, but if you are familiar with Cloward & Piven, Marxism, Saul Alinsky, the communist agenda for America, the Nazi propaganda machine . . . this all makes sense.  It has all been done and talked about and Obama follows the script.  If you aren’t familiar, please do the research and help become a part to the solution.

Obama’s Unbelievable Ego and Neil Armstrong

After learning of the passing of Neil Armstrong on Saturday, I felt like we closed a big chapter in America’s recent history.  Armstrong was legendary as the commander of NASA’s Apollo 11 lunar mission and the first to step foot on the moon, showing American ingenuity, determination, and, yes, EXCEPTIONALISM in our space program.  He is an icon.   While other instrumental folks from that era are still with us, not as many stand out like Armstrong.  With his passing, I must admit that a fleeting thought in my mind was something regarding the final death of American greatness with NASA . . . remember, Obama pretty much killed the space program so NASA could focus more on making Muslims feel better about themselves.  Remember this?

How the Muslims’ self-esteem is NASA’s responsibility is beyond me (or why it’s America’s responsibility at all), but when we have the sheer anti-American crap, criminality and inexcusable ineptitude in this administration, what else can we expect?  Now, an American icon has passed, further closing that era of American greatness . . . and actual progress, might I add.  Now, what’s in store for America?  Time will tell, but if Obama has any say in the matter, we’re guaranteed it’s not about anything American, independence, hard work or creativity, but all about him.

Why do I say that?  Well, if the past 4 years of Obama’s blatant narcissism, anti-American rhetoric, attitudes, and actions, and obvious disdain for all things good and American . . . along with his arrogant,  incessant praise and admiration of himself . .. if all of these things haven’t been enough to prove it, look at this photo.

As I began my work day this morning, I discovered this on Breitbart.com.  In a time to honor an American icon (Armstrong), Obama thought the best way to do so was post a picture of himself looking at the moon.  One site, soopermexican.com, claims that this picture was actually a “stock photo” that was originally taken 4 months ago!  If that is true, it makes this scenario even more despicable.

Fellow Americans, with the election quickly approaching, if there is any question in your mind about which side of the aisle you are on, now is the time to ask and seek the answer.  Forget his radical Marxist ties and beliefs, his anti-colonial/anti-American upbringing, and his Communist mentors and friends.  Ask yourself this:  Is it the time to keep someone in power who wants just that . . . all possible power to wield over us, to make us subjects to his every whim?  Have we benefitted from having someone hold our highest office who rejects everything American?  Does it do us any good to have someone weaken our defenses and cause our allies to no longer trust us while our enemies no longer fear us?  Are we better off having record debt?  Record numbers of people on welfare and government programs?  Is it the sign of a good leader when he has never taken one ounce of responsibility, but rather refuses to deal with real issues.  He only passes blame.  He calls names, divides and ridicules.  He never takes responsibility and acts in a way emphatically unworthy of the title President of the United States .  . . or may I suggest even worthy of the title American?  Someone who disgraces our country, our traditions, and history?  One who disrespects our military, our police-force, and their families?  Someone who thinks everything is a chance to ignore the real situation at hand, yet superimpose himself in it, though he has nothing to do with it at all . . . such as “honoring” Neil Armstrong by posting, what could be an old, picture of himself looking skyward?

How childishly arrogant can one be?

To answer all of these questions, I can only answer that this is all 100% wrong and we must oust this administration before they actually force themselves into a “regime” while we wonder what happened.  We are far worse off with this pathetic excuse for “leadership.”  We must change, return to our foundation, and give due respect to our icons, our history, and our country.

To Mr. Armstrong and family, we – proud Americans – honor you.  We thank you for your work and your contribution to America’s great success story in contemporary history.  We are sorry for your loss, and for America’s loss, but thank you for the memories and for that chapter in our country’s great life.  We pray for you and, please know, we do not follow the example of the wannabe-dictator.  He does not speak or act for us  . . . we do respect you.

As for the “wannabe-dictator,” allow me to offer a line from the great Metallica song, “Don’t Tread on Me” –

“Love it or leave it, she with the deadly bite.”
